  1. The “Remaining points to spend” field gets populated based on character age and gender to show the maximum points that are available to be spread among the five character attributes.

  1. Next, the number of points that you wish to spread among the five attributes may be filled in, and as an when they are entered, it reflects in the remaining points as well. The minimum for any combative character in any attribute is 2 and the maximum is 12. Sufficient reasonable explanation for any of the extreme cases should be provided. Non Combatants may have a minimum of Zero. The bonuses and penalties as elaborated above are added to and subtracted from these values in the end.

  1. Damage dealt is based on the value of Offense Attribute.

Let us consider an example now :

Ser Roddick Buckler of Bronzegate is a twenty five year old Knight.

  • His age (25) gives him a +1 bonus to offense and +1 to mitigation

  • Combat Class - Knight/Northern Cavalry : +1 bonus to Mitigation and +1 to Offense

  • He selects ‘Duelist’ as his Mitigation Type : +2 bonus to Offense and a -1 penalty to Mitigation

  • He selects ‘Heavy Armor’ for his Endurance type : -1 penalty to Offense and +1 bonus to Mitigation

  • He selects ‘Aggressive Leader’ for his Martial type : +1 bonus to Martial and +1 to Offense ( for personal combat )

  • He selects ‘Imposing Will’ for his Presence type : +1 to Offense ( for personal combat )

  • Now he spreads his total points available (35) among the base stats as follows :

    • Offense - 8

    • Mitigation - 8

    • Endurance - 8

    • Martial - 6

    • Presence - 5
  • His Offense (8) Gives his Damage value to be 3 per successful attack.

  • Adding and subtracting all his bonuses would result in his Character Sheet looking like this in the end :

 Offense

 =  8 +1 +1 +2 -1 +1 +1

  = 13

 Mitigation

 =  8 +1 +1 -1 +1

  = 10

 Endurance

 =  8

  =  8  → HP = 1.5x8 = 12

 Martial

 =  6 +1

  =  7

 Presence

 =  5

  =  5

                                                                                                             Damage value = 3
